His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Abdulaziz Praises : His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and Chair of the University Board of Trustees, praised the PMU publication “Oryx”, after receiving the first two issues, published in both English and Arabic.

HRH valued the Oryx newsletter and described it as “one of the best newsletters he receives, as it analytically illustrates and relates PMU activities and events”.

PMU Rector thanked His Highness for his valuable opinion in that regard, and considered this evaluation as additional motivation to continuously improve the contents and increase the effort deployed in the publication. Through the Oryx, PMU management tries to constantly keep the university internal and external communities informed of the latest news in the various institutional areas.

Ministry of Higher Education Grants Accreditation to PMU : The Ministry of Higher Education has approved all the bachelor's programs offered by PMU in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and Management Information Systems, in addition to the Preparatory Year Program and Executive MBA.

The news was communicated to HRH Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz in a letter addressed to His Highness by the Minister of Higher Education.

PMU Rector Dr. Issa Al-Ansari stated that this accreditation reveals the conviction of the Ministry that PMU will offer remarkable and distinguished education. This increases the university's challenges and opens doors to our ambitious students.

Dr. Issa Al-Ansari expressed warm thanks to the Ministry whom PMU considers as a major partner in its successes.

CHANGE IN PAYMENT METHODS : As of 16 January 2007, the online transfer from banks, other than SAMBA will no longer be accepted. This is being done to insure that student payments are quickly and accurately provided to PMU to maintain the accuracy of the student accounts. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause.
