- The Kopasgat (Indonesian: Komando Pasukan Gerak Cepat, Quick Reaction Forces Command) is the air force infantry and special forces corps of the Indonesian Air Force. The corps is also known as the Orange Berets (Baret Jingga in Indonesian) from the colour of their service headgear. Kopasgat is trained to seize and defend airfields from enemy forces known as Operasi Pembentukan dan Pengoperasian Pangkalan Udara Depan (OP 3 UD) (Frontline Air Base Establishment and Management Operation), airborne operations, and other specific military operations within the scope of the Indonesian Air Force. Kopasgat is tasked with carrying out the objectives and defense of the strategic objects of the Air Force, air defense, special operations and other typical military operations under the policies of the Commander of the National Armed Forces. Kopasgat has air-oriented combat abilities, such as combat-control team, airfield control and defense, combat search and rescue, jumpmaster, airborne, ground-forward air control and high-altitude military parachuting. They also can operate as Air Traffic Controllers (ATC) in certain situations. Kopasgat has a special unit tasked for conducting special operations such as responding to aircraft hijackings and other specific missions tasked to the corps, the unit is known as the Bravo Detachment 90 (Satbravo 90). - Komando Pasukan Gerak Cepat (disingkat Kopasgat, atau sebutan lainnya Korps Baret Jingga), merupakan pasukan (khusus) yang dimiliki TNI Angkatan Udara. Kopasgat merupakan satuan tempur darat berkemampuan tiga matra, yaitu udara, laut, darat. Setiap prajurit Pasgat diharuskan minimal memiliki kualifikasi para-komando (Parako) untuk dapat melaksanakan tugas secara profesional, kemudian ditambahkan kemampuan khusus kematraudaraan sesuai dengan spesialisasinya. Tugas dan tanggung jawab Kopasgat sama dengan pasukan tempur lainnya yaitu Satuan Tempur Negara. Sebagai Pasukan Pemukul NKRI yang siap diterjunkan disegala medan baik hutan, kota, rawa, sungai, laut untuk menumpas semua musuh yang melawan NKRI., yang membedakannya adalah Korpasgat mempunyai Ciri Khas tugas tambahan yang tidak dimiliki oleh pasukan lain yaitu Operasi Pembentukan dan Pengoperasian Pangkalan Udara (OP3U) yaitu merebut dan mempertahankan pangkalan dan untuk selanjutnya menyiapkan pendaratan pesawat dan penerjunan pasukan. Kopasgat bertugas membina kekuatan dan kemampuan satuan. Pasgat sebagai pasukan matra udara selalu siap operasional dalam melaksanakan segala misi operasi militer perang maupun non militer selain perang, perebutan sasaran, pertahanan objek strategis Angkatan Udara, pertahanan udara, operasi khusus dan khas matra udara dalam operasi militer atas kebijakan Panglima TNI. Warna baret jingga Pasgat terinspirasi dari cahaya jingga saat fajar di daerah Margahayu, Bandung, yaitu tempat pasukan komando ini dilatih.
