- Cette page dresse la liste des personnes béatifiées par le pape François. C'est le pape François qui décrète par un bref pontifical que telle personne soit proclamée bienheureuse, mais la messe de proclamation en elle-même est en général présidée par le préfet de la Congrégation pour les causes des saints. À la différence de la canonisation, la béatification se veut locale, puisqu'elle n'étend pas le culte du nouveau bienheureux à l'Église universelle. C'est la raison pour laquelle les messes de béatifications sont célébrées dans le pays où le bienheureux a vécu. Depuis l'accession au pontificat de François, 148 cérémonies ont été célébrées dans 35 pays différents (13 européens, 12 américains, 6 asiatiques et 4 africains). À l'heure actuelle, le pape François a décrété la béatification de 1 483 personnes, comme modèles évangéliques pour les croyants. - Dal 2013 al 2022 papa Francesco ha beatificato formalmente 1446 servi di Dio, di cui 1 per equipollenza e gli altri 1445 nel corso di 158 distinte cerimonie pubbliche. Occorre precisare che papa Francesco, come già aveva fatto papa Benedetto XVI, ha deciso di presiedere solamente i riti di canonizzazione: le beatificazioni, infatti, vengono approvate dal pontefice ed il conseguente rito di beatificazione è celebrato da un cardinale o un arcivescovo in qualità di delegato pontificio. Il Santo Padre ha presieduto di persona soltanto 5 cerimonie di beatificazione. Segue la lista delle beatificazioni celebrate nel corso del pontificato di papa Francesco. (it)
