- DialogOS ist eine grafische Entwicklungsumgebung für Dialogsysteme, das heißt Computersysteme, die per Spracheingabe und Sprachausgabe mit Menschen kommunizieren. Das Programm wurde zunächst kommerziell entwickelt und vertrieben von der CLT Sprachtechnologie GmbH. Seit 2018 wird es als Open-Source-Software weiterentwickelt. Neben der Integration von Spracherkennung und Sprachausgabe hat DialogOS eine Programmierschnittstelle, um externe Geräte in das Dialogsystem einzuklinken. Im Lieferumfang enthalten ist eine Einbindung für den LEGO Mindstorms NXT. Mit ein wenig Java-Kenntnissen kann man sich auch eine Brücke zu beliebigen anderen Softwaremodulen oder externer Hardware programmieren. DialogOS wird unter anderem an Schulen und Universitäten im Informatikunterricht eingesetzt, um Grundzüge der Mensch-Maschine-Kommunikation und des Dialog-Designs zu vermitteln. (de)
- DialogOS is a graphical programming environment to design computer system which can converse through voice with the user. Dialogs are clicked together in a Flowchart. DialogOS includes bindings to control Lego Mindstorms robots by voice and has bindings to SQL databases, as well as a generic plugin architecture to integrate with other types of backends. DialogOS is used in computer science courses in schools and universities to teach programming and to introduce beginners in the basic principles of human/computer interaction and dialog design. It has also been used in research systems. DialogOS was initially developed commercially by CLT Sprachtechnologie GmbH until its liquidation in 2017. The rights were then acquired by Saarland University and the software was released as open-source. (en)

DialogOS utilise un organigramme de programmation, il est donc possible d'utiliser DialogOS sans avoir de profondes connaissances informatiques. Le programme comprend aussi une extension pour commander les robots de type Lego Mindstorms NXT avec la voix. Actuellement l'anglais et l'allemand sont directement supportés par DialogOS. DialogOS est principalement utilisé dans les cours informatiques des écoles ou dans des universités, pour apprendre la programmation ainsi que les principes de la création d'un dialogue électronique.
