- The Cantonal and University Library of Lausanne (Bibliothèque cantonale et universitaire de Lausanne, BCU) was founded in the 16th century and became one of the most important public libraries in Switzerland. (en)
- Die Kantons- und Universitätsbibliothek Lausanne (französisch Bibliothèque cantonale et universitaire de Lausanne, kurz BCU Lausanne oder BCUL) ist eine öffentliche Institution mit einem kulturellen, akademischen und patrimonialen Auftrag. Sie ist auf folgende Standorte verteilt:
* Bibliothek von Dorigny (Unithèque)
* Rechts- und Wirtschaftsbibliothek (ebenfalls am Campus in Dorigny)
* Bibliothek von Riponne (Palais de Rumine) Am 14. März 2011 wurde ein vierter Sitz, die Bibliothek von Cèdres, definitiv geschlossen. Da die BCUL dem Kulturdepartement des Kantons unterstellt ist, dient sie gleichzeitig der universitären Gemeinschaft und der breiten Waadtländer Öffentlichkeit. Sie sammelt die gesamte den Kanton Waadt betreffende Dokumentation. (de)
- La Bibliothèque cantonale et universitaire - Lausanne (BCUL) est une institution publique à vocation patrimoniale, culturelle et académique. Elle dispose de six sites complémentaires :
* BCUL site Unithèque (collections sciences humaines et sociales)
* BCUL site Internef (collections sciences économiques et Droit)
* BCUL site Riponne (collections de culture générale, vaudoises et musicales)
* BCUL site Provence (collection destinée aux usagers du Gymnase Provence)
* BCUL site Renens (collection destinée aux usages du Gymnase de Renens)
* BCUL site HEP Vaud (collections qui s'adressent prioritairement aux étudiants, au corps professoral et aux collaborateurs de la HEP, ainsi qu’aux enseignants du canton de Vaud) Dépendant du service des affaires culturelles, elle est à la fois destinée à la communauté universitaire ainsi qu’au grand public vaudois. Elle détient la production documentaire touchant le canton de Vaud (dépôt légal et documentation vaudoise). (fr)
