- El Portal biogràfic dels Països Baixos (en neerlandès Biografisch Portaal Nederland) abreujat com a BioPort o BPN és un web de l'Institut Huygens d'Història dels Països Baixos (Huygens ING) que fa la funció de registre d'autoritat sobre la història dels Països Baixos. Segons la premsa al moment del seu llançament és una mena de «mausoleu digital». El març 2015 ja conté més de 125.641 biografies sobre 80.133 neerlandesos: persones que van néixer als Països Baixos o que hi van tenir un paper important. No accepta dades de persones viues i només publica dades de persones que van tenir una paper als Països Baixos, el que vol dir el territori que a l'època de l'activitat major de la persona pertanyia a l'estat. El registre continua creixent per noves institucions que s'hi afilien i per projectes concrets, com per exemple artistes o dones famoses, un grup fins fa poc negligit als repertoris biogràfics tradicionals. - The Biografisch Portaal (Biography Portal) is an initiative based at the Huygens Institute for Dutch History in Amsterdam, with the aim of making biographical texts of the Netherlands more accessible. The project was started in February 2010 with material for 40,000 digitized biographies, with the goal to grant digital access to all reliable information about (deceased) people of the Netherlands from the earliest beginnings of history up to modern times. The Netherlands as a geographic term includes former colonies, and the term "people" refers both to people born in the Netherlands and its former colonies, and also to people born elsewhere but active in the Netherlands and its former colonies. As of 2011, only biographical information about deceased people is included. The system used is based on the standards of the Text Encoding Initiative. Access to the Biografisch Portaal is available free through a web-based interface. The project is a cooperative undertaking by ten scientific and cultural bodies in the Netherlands with the Huygens Institute as main contact. The other bodies are:

Proyek ini dimulai pada bulan Februari 2010 dengan material yang terdiri dari 40.000 biografi digital, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan akses digital ke semua informasi tepercaya tentang orang-orang Belanda dari awal sejarah sampai zaman modern. Het gaat om mensen die in Nederland zijn geboren of er actief zijn geweest. Nog levende personen worden niet opgenomen. Iedere persoon in het Biografisch Portaal heeft een eigen persoonspagina met kerngegevens. Die persoonspagina's linken door naar digitale informatie over de desbetreffende persoon, zoals korte levensbeschrijvingen, archivalia, literatuur en afbeeldingen.
