Alexandria (/ˌælɪɡˈzændriə/ or /-ˈzɑːnd-/; Arabic: ٱلْإِسْكَنْدَرِيَّةُ al-ʾIskandarīyah; Greek: Αλεξάνδρεια, translit. Alexándria) is the second largest city in Egypt, and the largest city on the Mediterranean coast.
