Direktor des MCC Brussels in der emeritierte Soziologieprofessor Frank Furedi von der University of Kent. In einem Beitrag für die Publikation Politico schrieb er, dass es eine Feindseligkeit gegenüber Ungarn gebe, die zu einer „irrationalen Magyarophobie“ geworden sei.
