Philip Andrew Davies (born 5 January 1972) is a British Conservative Party politician and Member of Parliament (MP) for Shipley in West Yorkshire. Davies has regularly been criticised by other politicians and prominent public figures for comments he has made on gender equality and women, homosexuality, ethnic minorities and the disabled. He has stated that the disabled should have the option of working for less than the minimum wage. Davies has said that white, male ministers risk being "hoofed out" of the government to make way for women or minority ethnic MPs.
