B. ASCA. ISAS Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (宇宙科学研究所 Uchū kagaku kenkyūjo?) var Tokyos universitets Rymdforskningsinstitut i Komaba fram till 1981. Gníomhaireacht a bunaíodh i 1981 chun spásárthaigh agus córais lainseála a dhearadh is a shaothrú. Déantear na lainseálacha ag ionad spáis i gKagoshima ar oileán Kyushu i ndeisceart na Seapáine. Tá cláir na bhfeidhmeanna spáis faoi choimirce an Ghníomhaireacht Náisiúnta Forbartha Spáis. Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (宇宙科学研究所, Uchū kagaku kenkyūjo) (ISAS) is a Japanese national research organization of astrophysics using rockets, astronomical satellites and interplanetary probes which played a major role in Japan's space development. Since 2003, it is a division of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
